In my growing up years, I was told the story of the wishing star. It’s still with me till today. With my eyes closed and head titled toward the sky, I make a wish with earnest desire. I’ve even made my own rule for the wishes. You can make 3 wishes and sometimes combine 2 wishes in 1.
There’s something about the stars, always been in awe of them. They sit so pretty with their diamonds sparkling and dazzling the world. It's them that make the dark roof above us less scary.
I've often wondered where they disappear during the day, setting aside the scientific answer to that, I think they disguise their identity so as to move around freely. They get rid of the diamonds and adorn white and grey cottons and mingle in with the clouds and travel everywhere.
The pretty little things make the night so beautiful. We can never ignore the little twinkles as they charm us and make the world smile - Oh! The innocent delights they truly are.

Today as I gazed at the wonderful stars I wished for both you and me to always have trust in our own selves and be able to guide ourselves to success, happiness and inner strength.
Gonna try this wish upon a star thingy... never believed in it.... but will give it a try... too many wishes for one year... so let them handle some of them... ha ha ha
