My momma is the best!!! Probably the words that I would like to hear from R someday.......Till then I'll boast about mine.

I tucked R in bed and chatted with mom for nearly two hours today. It felt so good!!!! While in conversation, I casually mentioned that I was yearning for an egg curry and wished someone would make it for me. She instantly interrupted the conversation and urged me to note down a quick recipe so that I could prepare the dish right then and there. I was hesitant as first but then thought,' why not?'

It so happened that I made the egg curry during our talk and even managed to devour the last drop of the curry before I hung up. The cooking seemed uncomplicated as I had virtual company. I thanked her saying - Mamma you're the best!!!

I could feel her joy in knowing that she could in an abstract way feed her daughter the dish she wanted. I hope to have the same effect on R someday....
