October 5th 2011 will be marked in history forever. Not as a date to rejoice but as a date to mark respect and remember the loss which might be felt for years to come.
With no Steve Jobs it almost feels like a dead end in technology. My apple connection began with the iPod. I can still remember how light my bag felt without the CDs and the CD player and before that the cassettes and the Walkman.
Anyway, now that I'm a proud owner of the iPhone 4S I feel sad knowing that I'll no longer be able to enjoy Mr. Jobs' style of introducing an Apple product and waiting eagerly for days in advance for the event to take place.
