Sleep engulfs me again
As I strain my eyes to read
Pausing for a moment
I see a vision before me
Of peaceful days and delightful moments
That had once whizzed by me
Only, I was too busy then
To see what they really meant
Today, when I sat myself on the porch
I felt a strange emptiness
Reminding me of the missed out fun
That were mine to seek
A resolve I then made
To be aware and content
With everything that is in my way
And to accept it with open arms come what may
