I did a silly thing today - Closed a document without saving it. I remember, when I first started with computers the only thing that got etched onto my mind was the action CTRL + S. This was something I did involuntarily, sometimes even while writing an email.
So, no clue as to what happened today??? The timing was also unfortunate. It was pack up time :(. Had to sit back and redo the entire document again. I knew that the call to the technical team would be useless..…but still hoping against hope I punched their number and was told ‘It’s gone’. I swear I could have bawled my heart out, it was so dismaying.
The worse thing was it was a design document and it worried me that I might not remember what was in the original. I’ve just redone it and hope it’s got all the ideas as before.
Phew! What a way to end the day
