What do you think?

When I was younger I was easily mislead about people and things by the media. I believed every word I read or heard and could not have done much in the way of research and thinking on my own etc either. Main reasons for this being 1. I was pretty naïve 2. Was not that tech savvy 3. Did not have a lot of resources too.

Following from that I remember there is one such author ( not typing the name, I’m not looking for any controversies. These are just my own thoughts) whom I have begun to admire and respect. Actually the person is not only a author but has many accolades to their name. Mentioning any one of that would be giving away the identity J. I agree it is no fun in reading about something that is so mysterious…..but people who are close to me will know who I am talking about.

This all makes me think – ‘Why do people malign someone?’ ‘What comes of this strong emotion of hate and dislike?’ ‘Why cannot people just live and let live?’ However having these questions plague my mind another bigger bubble interrupts my thoughts – ‘Is all this attention either praise or criticism intentional?? Do the people who are victimised gain from this??’

I don’t have the answers nor would I imagine anyone knowing the answers either. But what is very clear is such is the human mind. We are constantly playing games! Why, who knows??

I think it could help us if we all become aware of why we do what we do?
