Lunch Time fun again

P.S. Click to enlarge the pictures

Another lunch afternoon well spent. I had planned to blog about how the week seemed so long blah blah, but with a turn of events I am compelled to blog about something far more interesting.

I visited Tate Modern Art Gallery for the first time since I've been in London. I was fortunate enough to see ‘the crack’, have posted pictures below too.
'A huge crack - 548 ft long and three feet deep in places - in the concrete floor of Tate Modern has been unveiled as a new £300,000 work of art. Made by Colombian artist Doris Salcedo and entitled Shibboleth, the fissure is the latest monumental piece to fill Tate Modern's giant Turbine Hall in the rolling Unilever series of commissions.' ( excerpts from www.telegraph.co.uk)

Now I’m just not the kind to go into museums and art gallery, but this was so very unexpected and the walk to the museum very beautiful.

Another note worthy picture is that of St. Paul’s cathedral, now working near such a magnificent cathedral it would be a shame if I don’t take a picture or talk about it. It’s an heavenly atmosphere be it lunch time ( with scores of people walking, talking, laughing , kids shouting and running around) or the evening on my way home ( when the lighting around the area creates an angelic ambiance). More pictures of the evening magic later.

Still on a high from the afternoon experience.
