Fiddling around on the internet today afternoon, I discovered the Google 'gadget'. I had earlier noticed my Google homepage name changed to 'iGoogle', and asked a couple of people around, if they knew what it meant......however I stumbled upon the answer ( igoogle = gadget) today itself. Though not many gadgets yet…I think the ones that are there are pretty cool all the same…..I have added 2 onto my homepage - ‘The Daily Me’ and the ‘Countdown’ gadget….Google rocks!!

These are programs known as 'gadgets' from google. The 2 that I have added are fun programs.
THE DAILY ME allows a person to express themselves through answers to Q's like 'Current status', 'What r u thinking'etc..the user can then either send the gadget to friends or choose not to...so essentially the other person can be updated with the mood of the sender...
COUNTDOWN is really as the name suggests, you can post a birthday, meeting, party etc...and your google homepage will be updated accordingly telling you how many days left for the ocassion....
