Mystified

I stand and watch the waves rushing toward me
Whispering a song which set me free

I smiled and laughed merrily
With the sea beside me

We spoke about dreams and the fairies
Which we both in our hearts cherished

It was a moment of total acceptance
As I climbed onto a wave and dived into oblivion

Today, as I sit near the window
I wonder if it was an illusion or the real scenario

Which engulfed and made me happy
But again it vanished away in a jiffy

I wait again patiently
To dive into a world of pure tranquility
