Numb

She walks the line as if in a dream
Opening her eyes though she's still weak

Clutching her dreams
As she sits on the edge of the seam

She stops again near the shed
Only to overlook at the world ahead

Slowly feeling her senses
Give away to the moment of relief

The numbness returns once again
Preparing her anew for the world that lies ahead
